Horsham District Council is collecting the BID levy on our behalf and all funds will be transferred to Horsham BID Ltd.  For further information about the BID, what a BID is, how we plan to spend your levy and how you can get involved please read the BID business plan on this website. If you believe that you may be eligible for an exemption, please contact the Revenues and Benefits team at Horsham District Council using this email address stating your BID reference number (starting with an 8 on your bill) and reason why you think your business may be exempt.

BID Levy Exemptions:

The following exemptions to the BID levy apply:

· Non-retail charities with no paid staff, trading arm, income, or facilities.

· Not-for-profit subscription and entirely volunteer based organisations.

· Businesses that fall in the following sectors: Industrial; Manufacturing; Storage and Workshops

BID Levy Arrangements:

The BID levy is billed as an annual payment, due within 28 days of the date on your bill. However, we do appreciate that fluctuating cashflow may make a single payment difficult.
