Following the temporary closure of Swan Walk on July 13th, we are providing help and guidance for residents and visitors concerned about accessing shops and services in the town centre.
Please note that despite this, Horsham is very much open for business so come and enjoy our bars, restaurants, markets and shops as usual, and don’t forget the ever-popular Friday Lates which continues right through to the end of August with an amazing array of brilliant entertainment.
From Swan Walk:
“We are pleased to share that we’ll be able to reopen a select number of stores this weekend [1st August 2026]. Next, TG Jones, Toy Barnhaus, Top Gift and Happyscamps Soft Play will reopen on Saturday 1st August. The centre toilets will also be open.
We have worked closely with our insurers to allow the reopening of these stores, which can be accessed without the public needing to walk beneath the glazed roof.
Access to this area will only be available via the stairs and lifts from the Swan Walk car park across the link bridges. Access to M&S and Boots remains through the Carfax entrance or via the M&S lift from the car park. A plan showing access points is available below.
While public safety remains our number one priority, we’re continuing to work closely with our insurer to ensure that all stores can reopen as soon as possible.”
f your Superdrug Pharmacy prescription is ready for collection, or you have a Click & Collect parcel waiting, you can arrange to collect these by calling 01403 253567.

Currently there are many shops who have taken market stalls in West Street, these include The Linen Store, Gobsmack Comics, Toy Barnhaus and Laura’s Auras. However, these may change so please check in with the relevant social channels for individual updates.
Yes however there is no access into Swan Walk, you will exit via Medwin Walk
Currently the Post Office in Swan Walk is shut however there are a number of sub post offices in the town – follow this link to find one near to you.
30.07. UPDATE: The Post Office will be open on Saturday 1st August
Here is a link to accessible toilets and baby changing facilities. Please note this list includes Swan Walk and The Capitol Theatre which are both currently closed. Most hospitality venues have facilities for patrons.
