Following the temporary closure of Swan Walk Shopping Centre on July 13th, we are providing help and guidance for residents and visitors concerned about accessing shops and services across the town centre.
Please note that despite this, Horsham is very much open for business so come and enjoy our bars, restaurants, markets and shops as usual, and don’t forget the ever-popular Friday Lates which continues right through to the end of August with an amazing array of brilliant entertainment.
Yes however there is minimal access into Swan Walk, you can exit via Medwin Walk
Here is a link to accessible toilets and baby changing facilities.
Swan Walk bathroom facilities can be accessed by taking the Medwin Walk lift to level 2, walking towards main entrance and using the lifts or stairs to access.
JoJo Maman Bébé in the Carfax has kindly advised they can be utilised for baby change facilities
Please note this list includes The Capitol Theatre which is currently closed. Most hospitality venues have facilities for patrons.
The Post Office sits inside T.G. Jones store within Swan Walk.
There are a number of sub post offices in town too – follow this link to find one near to you.

f your Superdrug Pharmacy prescription is ready for collection, or you have a Click & Collect parcel waiting, you can arrange to collect these by calling 01403 253567.
Collection can be arranged from the rear of the store which can be found in the yard behind COOK (8, Carfax, RH12 1DR)

Currently there are many shops who have taken market stalls in West Street, these include The Linen Store, Gobsmack Comics, Toy Barnhaus, Natural Body Company and Aura Crystals. However, these may change so please check in with the relevant social channels for individual updates.

From Swan Walk Thursday 13th August:
“As shared in our previous update, it has been confirmed that that an external projectile was responsible for the issue with our glazing panels. A netting solution, with a proven track record elsewhere, has been ordered and will be installed throughout the glazed area of the centre. We are working to a target delivery date of 21st August with installation work ready to start immediately.
We will then be able to share further detail around the planned timings for reopening, which will be on a phased basis. We are planning a reopening event for the first weekend of full centre opening and we look forward to sharing further details of the event in due course.
Our duty of care to all tenants, their staff and visitors to the centre remains our number one priority and we continue to be grateful for their ongoing support and understanding during this period. We’re also grateful to our town centre partners who continue to offer support to the Swan Walk tenants throughout this time.
In the interim M&S & Boots remain open and accessible from Carfax entrance, while TG Jones, The Post Office, Next, Toy Barnhaus, plus the customer toilets are also open and accessible from the Swan Walk car park using the lifts and stairs into the centre.
