Our Businesses

Help shape the future of Horsham Town Centre.

Your Horsham exists to champion a thriving, vibrant town centre. A place to work, shop and socialise. We support local businesses by being your voice, identifying cost savings, delivering affordable training opportunities, and promoting Horsham through events, trails and our friendly town ambassadors. Everything we do is focused on creating a welcoming, successful town for everyone.

This is the second year of our survey

Some questions remain the same to help us track progress against our five-year Business Plan. We’d love your feedback. The survey takes just 10 minutes to complete

We need your input.

Our projects and priorities are driven by YOU. Tell us what’s working, what could be better, and what you’d like to see next. While we can’t promise to deliver everything, your feedback directly influences what we focus your funding on and what we deliver.

Your Horsham Business Ley Payer Survey (2025) Review

Last year’s survey (issued Jan 2025) identified some areas for additional support and priority focus for the business, as such we delivered the following throughout 2025 (note these are just some of the initiatives delivered in 2025).

1. Engaged the Place Support Partnership to help your businesses identify cost savings through reviewing your utility costs and seeking better contracts and prices.

2. Submitted a report to the council and organised a business consultation with HDC on the public realm development works challenging the placement of cycle routes in pedestrianised areas in the Bishopric and Carfax – referencing your responses to our survey.

3. Focussed more promotional activity for Horsham town centre businesses on social media platforms by offering filming and photo opportunities for your businesses

4. Actively supported and encouraged businesses to sign up to DISC and use it effectively.

5. Improved our Christmas Launch and Late-Night shopping event by increasing activities throughout the entire town centre.

6. Launched a business-to-business discount scheme, offering discounts for staff working within the town centre (see website “Staff Discounts” page for further details)

7. Worked on the development of a wayfinding initiative included developing a town centre map which is in its final stages.
